More about Eric...
  • Arlington resident and homeowner on Grandview Road since 2007.

  • Town Meeting member since 2010, proudly representing the people of Precinct 12, who consistently have the highest voter turnout.

  • Spearheaded the adoption of electronic voting in Town Meeting, sponsoring the warrant article and then chairing the Electronic Voting Study Committee that worked to successfully implement e-voting bylaws and technology in 2014. As a result, there is now a public record of every substantive vote by each Town Meeting Member.

  • Secretary and webmaster of the Arlington Heights Tower Association, which cooperatively maintains many of the Private Ways in Precinct 12.

  • Advocate for sustainable environmental practices. As a past member of the town's Recycling Committee, I worked to help increase townwide recycling and composting. I'm a member of of Friends of Robbins Farm Park and a big fan of the educational vegetable garden there, and I teach food gardening classes at Arlington Community Education. You may also have seen my front yard vegetable garden on Grandview Road.

  • Strong supporter of Arlington's public schools, volunteering my digital communications skills in the override and debt exclusion campaigns of recent years.

  • 25-year career in the nonprofit, education and community sectors, with broad experience working with local police, state and local elected officials, citizen coalitions, public health agencies, public schools, and community-based organizations.

Please feel free to drop me a line at eric@erichelmuth.com any time about these or any other town issues. I sincerely welcome your input and questions.

Respectfully yours,
